Игрок выступает в роли героя, который стал свидетелем некоего невероятного сверхъестественного события, с чудовищными последствиями которого он будет сталкиваться на протяжении всей игры. Путешествуя по миру, главному герою предстоит выяснить, что вызвало этот катаклизм, а так же найти способ избавить мир от его последствий.
  Obsidian четко обозначили, какова будет Pillars of Eternity: ролевая игра с масштабами Baldur’s Gate, сценарной работой как в Planescape: Torment и сражениями как в Icewind Dale. Цели, которую они поставили перед собой в рамках Kickstarter-кампании, они держались до последнего.
  Но Pillars of Eternity не просто возрождает Infinity-классику — она старается преуспеть там, где раньше что-то шло не так. Где интерфейс мешал игре, сражения начинали тяготить, а правила Dungeon & Dragons не слишком удачно ложились на программный код. Эта игра выглядит очень знакомо и играется почти так же, но уроки последних пятнадцати лет не прошли для нее даром.-

1. Установить игру, при помощи файла setup_pillars_of_eternity_2.0.0.1.exe, настроив параметры установки в инсталляторе.
2. Установить патч 1.0.3.0530, при помощи файла patch_pillars_of_eternity_2.1.0.3.exe
2. Все готово к запуску, приятной игры.
