Все альбомы, издания оригинальные, переиздания, издания из Японии, сборники и концерты все в высоком качестве в 320kbps. Кроме демо - записи она в 256kbps. Почти в каждой папке сканы обложек и буклетов альбомов  Прообразом этой команды является панк-группа The lubricants, игравшая панк-рок на территории Нью-Джерси еще в конце 70-х годов. Название Overkill, позаимствованное их песни Motorhead, появилось в начале следующего десятилетия. Оригинальный состав банды выглядел так: Бобби "Блиц" Эллсвортс (вокал), Ди Ди Верни (бас), Бобби Густафсон (гитара) и Рэт Скэйтс (ударные). Скопировано с Dark-World.ru. Атаковав нью-йоркские клубы типа "L'amours", парни вскоре заработали себе славу эдаких металлических "синих воротничков". В 1984-м Overkill своими силами выпустили одноименный EP, а в 1985-м обрели контракт с Megaforce Records. В том же году группа нанесла сокрушительный трэш-удар, выбросив на прилавки полноформатник "Feel the fire". В 1987-м коллектив приобрел "мажорный" статус, перебравшись под крышу Atlantic Records, где провел следующие семь лет. Вскоре после этого начались кадровые перестановки. Первым из Overkill ушел Скэйтс, передавший эстафету Сиду Фальку. Не успела группа выпустить два альбома, как заявил о своем уходе Густафсон, являвшийся основным сонграйтером. Однако и этот удар коллектив выдержал с достоинством. Вместо одного гитариста в команде теперь появилось целых два – Роб Канневино и Мерритт Гант (экс-Faith of fear). Между тем звучание Overkill становилось все брутальнее, а число поклонников группы неуклонно росло. Особенно фанаты обожали такие вещи, как "Rotten to the core", "Hammerhead", "Fuck you" (кавер "D.O.A."), "Evil never dies", "Hello from the gutter". В 1993-м в составе произошла очередная рокировка, и место Фалька занял Тим Малларе. На следующий год команда сделала прощальный альбом для "Atlantic", а в 1995-м наконец-то удосужилась записать свой первый официальный концертник, "Wrecking your neck". До начала нового тысячелетия Overkill успели нарезать три студийных альбома, один сборник концертно-бестовых вещей ("Fuck you and then some") и одну компиляцию каверов ("Coverkill"), на которой они отдали должное Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, Sex pistols и прочим любимым артистам. Все это время в банде работали гитаристы Джо Комю (экс-Liege Lord) и Себастьян Марино (экс-Anvil). К 2000 году Комю ушел в Annihilator, Марино тоже куда-то исчез, а все гитарные партии свалили на Дэйва Линска. Бедняге пришлось промучиться около двух лет, прежде чем ему на помощь пришел бывший партнер Ди Снайдера, Дерек Тэйлер. Вернувшись к форме квинтета, Overkill выпустили концертник "Wrecking everything". Это был дебют группы на лейбле Spitfire Records, на котором также вышли две следующие студийные работы: "Killbox 13" и "ReliXIV". Вскоре после того, как "ReliXIV" попал на прилавки магазинов, о своем уходе заявил Малларе, честно отстучавший в команде более десяти лет.
