Данная игра Armada 2526 относится к обычному классическому жанру космических стратегий, и она продолжает традиции своей уже далекой предшественницы. А это означает, что вы как пользователь начинаете игру с совсем слабо развитой расой, которая только-только вступила в эпоху великих и разнообразных межзвездных путешествий. Дальше вам необходимо путем дипломатических интриг и научных исследований, а также, конечно же, космических сражений построить свою могущественную по размерам галактическую империю. И в отличие от многих предшественников проекта Armada 2526 она смещает акцент на стратегические решения, а также и на битвы - заниматься всеми экономическими делами вам придется в меньшей степени.
Тем более, что глобальные цели - вашего вселенского могущества - в так называемой новой "Армаде" можно будет достигать вполне за разумные сроки. Как говорится, играть полжизни не потребуется.
