With the Weill-Kenner Dr. Jürgen Schebera as a tour guide, director Sven Düfer makes the search for the traces of life of the great composer.
On the biographical stations Dessau, Berlin, Paris and New York are both musicians and today's Weill interpreters and witnesses say.
A collage of historical documents and current perspective, from past and present results.
Previously belonged to friends and associates Weill tell anecdotes and stories about life and longings of the composer.
Artists such as Milva, Blixa Bargeld, Kathrin Angerer, Udo Lindenberg, Stefanie Wüst, the Willem Breuker collective deep and Jocelyn B. Smith deliver to the historical sites of outstanding interpretations of Weill songs and their themes the musical-lic relations with Weill and his work.
