Vibrasphere - это Rickard Bergluf и Robert Elster, обосновавшиеся в Uppsala, Швеция. Rickard начал делать электронную танцевальную музыку в начале девяностых. Совместно со своим партнёром Fredrik Axelsson’ом сформировал транс-проект Subcouds и основал студию Cloud 99 в 1993. Robert, который немного моложе, писал техно треки на своём компьютере уже в 1994. Через несколько лет он начал работать в студии Cloud 99 для того, чтобы уже на серьёзном уровне использовать свой талант. Rickard и Robert начали своё сотрудничество в 1997, но до 1998 это нельзя было назвать серьёзной работой, потому как с 1998 они окунулись в серьёзное производство музыки уже под именем Vibrasphere.

Летом 1998 проект Vibrasphere увидел свой первый луч света. Пять недель интенсивной работы в студии увенчались тремя новыми треками. Последний трек «The Open Sphere», записанный тогда, стал довольно популярным. И этот трек стал впоследствии торговой маркой Vibrasphere: его аккорды окунали в глубины прогрессив-транс атмосферы. После релиза этого трека на британском лейбле Psychic Deli Records в начале 1999, он стал одним из часто играемых DJ’ми всего мира и появился на многих компиляциях. С тех пор, по причине обильных путешествий на протяжении первой половины не появлялось никакого нового материала.

К августу, Vibrasphere снова вернулись в студию Cloud 99, чтобы начать работать над новым материалом. В середине сентября они вышли с парой срывающих башню треков: «Nowhere» и «Autopilot». Оба сразу были взяты во внимание хорошо известным лондонским лейблом Transient и выпущены им сразу на СD и виниле. В конце 1999 глава шведского лейбла Spiral Trax, Dj Anti, предложил Vibrasphere сотрудничество над полноценным альбомом. Rickard и Robert решили согласиться на предложение Spiral Trax. И в начале февраля Vibrasphere снова погрузились в массивную работу над альбомом в студии Cloud 99. Релиз намечался на конец 2000, предварительно отмеченный выходом сингла.
