F1 2012 продолжает знаменитую серию симуляторов гонок Formula One, созданных на основе чемпионата Формула-1. В этой части появился новый режим под названием Young Driver’s Test, который создан специально для того, чтобы с помощью ряда учебников научить игроков, как управлять болидом Формулы-1. Еще один режим Champions позволит игрокам бросить вызов шести чемпионам Международной автомобильной федерации – Кими Раайкконену, Льюису Хэмилтону, Дженсону Баттону, Себастьяну Феттелю и Фернанду Алонсо и Михаэлю Шумахеру.
