LSoft@ Active KillDisk - это программа для надежного полного и безвозвратного удаления и безопасного форматирования всех данных с жесткого диска, включая файловые системы (NTFS, FAT32, FAT16 и FAT12) и логические разделы. Работает с диском через биос в прямом режиме DOS (с загрузочной дискеты) и перезаписывает каждый доступный сектор винчестера. Программа использует метод удаления данных US Department of Defense 5220.22 M. Запускать программу можно с загрузочной DOS-дискеты, флэш-карты или CD-привода. Доступ к данным осуществляется на физическом уровне через базовую систему ввода/вывода (BIOS), минуя структуру логических дисков. Вне зависимости от типа операционной системы (DOS, Windows, Linux и Unix) и файловой системы, Active KillDisk полностью удалит все данные без возможности их восстановления.
