About the Producers
Yang Xiu-lan
Yang, who graduated from the Shenyang Music Academy, has been devoted to collecting and remarking folk music and Buddhist music. Yang is now a member of the Chinese Musician Association, a board member of the Beijing Youth Opera and Performing Arts Association, and the music consultant of the Yingkou City Buddhist Association.
Ouyang Qian
A Beijing native, Ouyang first studied Chinese music in Shenyang in 1957, graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chinese Literature from Hua Dong University in 1962. Ouyang has interest in different areas of academic pursuit. After graduating from Hua Dong University, he moved south to Fujian Province to continue his music study. There he studied musical composition in Fujian's College of Art.

Однако, данный хор является одним из наиболее популярных в самом Китае и довольно хорошо известен в Азии (примерно, как в западном мире известен венский хор мальчиков). В разное время победитель и номинант всевозможных конкурсов. Коллектив является сборным из местных хоров Пекина. Поют и мальчики и девочки. Репертуар характерен для академических детских хоров - солянка из родного (в данном случае китайского) фолька, классические вещи, старые и новые авторские баллады. Однако всё это поётся почти всегда и полностью на китайском языке =)

Наткнулся случайно в ослосети. Под произведённым впечатлением вытянул все 12 изданных дисков. Исходный формат APE + CUE. Судя по остаточной информации в шитах рип был сделан с помощью EAC. Кроме того, auCDtect говорит, что все треки - 100% CDDA. Кроме того, прослушанные мной композиции слышимых дефектов не имели. Для пары дисков пришлось шиты править на предмет двухсекундной рассинхронизации. Исходно все шиты были на китайском, английские названия всех песен взяты с сайта издателя. В таком виде (правленные мною cue + ape) могу также выложить, но обитающих здесь пуристов, боюсь, такой вариант не устроит =)

Я долго пытался понять, куда поместить данную раздачу. Сначала думал в Folk и NewAge, но там чисто фольк, а здесь всё-таки академическое исполнение. В раздел классики и подраздел хора и вокала? Но там в основном чистая классика, а здесь такой микс жанров. И репертуар зачастую вполне взрослый, так что и не музыка для детей в чистом виде. Наконец, увидев в этом разделе раздачу "Angel Voices / Libera", решил сунуть сюда. Вообще, на мой взгляд академическое хоровое искусство заслуживает отдельного раздела. Хор - это очень часто микс жанров, но при том всегда имеется объединяющая идея - совместное исполнение определённым коллективом под руководством определённого человека в присущей данному коллективу манере и традициях. Сейчас же все такого рода раздачи рассыпаны по куче разделов. Я полагаю даже, что это был бы неплохой раздел в одном уровне с классикой. А в нём стоило бы выделить подразделы "духовная музыка" и "детские коллективы".
