Notes:Shortly before the demise of Classic Records, the label had started a “Classic Records Presents” series of classical titles. Unfortunately, there were only two titles released before they went out of business. Both were released on their 200g Quiex SV-P vinyl and both have excellent sound quality. This was the first one.
This package also includes a bonus 7″ recording of Shostakovitch’s “The Coachman’s Dance” which, cut at 45 rpm, is a real thrill and a Kogan favorite encore piece.
