On April 25, 2014, Lucasfilm Ltd. announced that in preparation for the upcoming sequel trilogy of the legendary Star Wars, the Expanded Universe would not appear in any future Star Wars materials; past tales of the Expanded Universe will be printed under the Star Wars Legends banner, and a new continuity has been established that consists only of the original six films, the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series and film, and all future material including comics and video games! This release offers the complete catalog of the adult and children's novels, as well as short stories up until July 2015!

How use the chronological order:

- Look for numbers and BNH & ANH abbreviations in each folder's name.
- The original 1977 film "Star Wars: A New Hope" is used as year zero in the given book series.
- All the events prior to it are labeled BNH - Before New Hope, and events after ANH - After New Hope.
- For instance, folder 14 follows the events of 4 to 5 years after the "New Hope".
