Краткое описание:
«Omerta - City of Gangsters» — симулятор с тактическим пошаговым боем. В роли только прибывшего на корабле иммигранта, мечтающего о лучшей жизни, вам придется пробиться наверх криминальной пирамиды в Атлантик-Сити 1920-х годов. Начав с небольших заданий, ваш персонаж организует банду и расширит влияние империи, отняв территорию у других гангстеров. В конечном итоге он построит собственный преступный синдикат и станет фактическим правителем Атлантик-Сити.

Jan Koloff is known as the Bulgarian Colossus in many a boxing clubs and halls. Immigrating in the USA at the age of 17 he started earning his living as an illegal pit fighter. The potential of the young Koloff was quickly recognized by the local bookmaker and trainer Gyozo Kerekes. Kerekes used his connections and influence to settle Koloff in illegal boxing matches and over several years the Bulgarian fighter claimed over 1500 victories in the US.
The fame of Koloff grew and so did the unwanted attention of game-fixing gangs. Koloff decided to drop out before things get serious and began working as a hired muscle in exchange for protection. As the years passed his experience and immense strength allowed him to earn renown and recognition among the bootlegging gangs of Atlantic City.

A letter arrived today. The envelope was thick with the smell of a woman's perfume. It was an invitation, but not the invitation I expected. It was a call to take part in the "Greatest con of all time." Intrigued, I followed the message to one of the wealthiest parts of Atlantic City. The place was full of rich little good-for-nothings who never had to work for a living - the perfect setting for a scam.
New Jersey, February 1919. A young woman claiming to be Anastasia Romanov disappears after raising a considerable sum of money from local Russian immigrants who supported the royalist regime in Russia. The police suspected a con scheme but the very people that gave the money truly believed that the self-proclaimed Romanov has gone into hiding because of Soviet spies threatening her life.
The person in was Anna Anderson. She is known to be a charismatic and influential socialite with striking good looks. Her personality baffles investigators and people acquainted with the case and on one could tell whether this was a brilliant con act or the naked truth.

I got a call from New York. Lucky Luciano wanted my help in getting The Kid on his side. Piece of cake, he said. I wanted Luciano's connections in the Big Apple, so I agreed. What I didn't know was that The Kid didn't want to be on Luciano's side. That was how the trouble started. Piece of cake? I never did like cake.
Henry McCarty had the unremarkable childhood of a typical Texas farm boy. Henry was a hot-shot and a rascal and not so much fond of his father. When the old man lost the McCarty ranch to the bank, the young Henry finally rebelled and took off to seek his own fate.
In the next ten years Henry changed a handful of jobs. By the start of the War McCarty already had problems with local criminals and decided to abandon the state of Texas. Packing his arrogant temper, his disdainful attitude towards the spoiled city-boys and a pair of trusty revolvers, he headed to New York City. Fate finally smiled on him and he joined the gang of Lucky Luciano, becoming one of his most dangerous and resourceful men.

A military contractor bought the old canneries at the edge of the city and turned them into weapons factories. Caused quite a stir among Atlantic City's most wanted. Now every thief, crook and hood wants a piece of the pie. The local gangs have already claimed the turf around the factories and have started poaching their stocks of weapons. I'm gonna beat the hell outta them and take over the entire operation. While I'm at it, I might as well get some new toys for my boys. After all, they deserve nothin' but the best weapons available.
Deadeye Hastings is a notorious marksman killer and a crafty thief. He has served a decade in jail in England and the royal authorities were relieved to find out that he departed the islands to become a problem for the US government.
Most people look in the face of Johnny Hastings and think he is a monster but little do they know what kind of monster he is. Deadeye Hastings has always had problems with self-esteem and with keeping calm under pressure. He is constantly trying to compensate this with reckless demeanor dragging his comrades into unpredictable situations. Anyone who wants to have dealings with him should mind that he is far from reliable but Hastings himself cares little about what people think about him - he just wants to have fun!
