Его показ продлен на два сезона благодаря договоренности, достигнутой с актерами, озвучивающими персонажей. "Мы очень довольны достигнутым результатом", - отмечается в официальном заявлении студии. Она не раскрывает условия соглашения, устранившего препятствие на пути дальнейшего финансирования показа "Симпсонов". Ранее "20-й век Фокс" информировала, что для продолжения выпуска рисованной пародии на американское общество необходимо на 45% сократить гонорары актеров, голосами которых говорят Гомер Симпсон, его жена Мардж, сын Барт, дочка Лиса и другие. Дэн Кастелланетта, Джули Кавнер, Нэнси Картрайт и Ярдли Смит получают по 8 миллионов долларов за один сезон и требовали себе долю прибылей от показа "Симпсонов" в обмен на сокращение гонораров на 30%.
"Симпсоны" идут по американскому телевидению 23 сезона, последний начался 25 сентября. Первая мини-серия была показана в апреле 1987 года. Теперь сериал насчитывает 488 эпизодов. "Симпсоны" известны телезрителям более чем 100 стран мира. Творческий коллектив мульсериала завоевал 27 самых престижных в США телепремий "Эмми". 14 января 2000 года персонажи получили именную звезду на Аллее славы Голливуда.

Раздача ведётся путём добавления новых серий, при каждом добавлении торрент создаётся заново. Чтобы скачать новую серию, необходимо сделать следующее:
(1) остановить скачивание,
(2) удалить старый торрент у себя из клиента (сами файлы удалять не надо),
(3) скачать новый торрент и запустить его у себя в клиенте вместо старого, при этом указать клиенту путь в прежнюю папку, где лежат ранее скачанные файлы.
Ваш клиент при этом должен произвести хеширование раздачи (если не производит сам - помогите ему сделать это), и будет докачивать только те серии, которых у вас ещё нет. Старые серии при этом не удаляются, а продолжают раздаваться!
Eсли вы уже удалили старые серии, то предотвратить их повторную закачку можно, сняв галочку в соответствующих местах при запуске нового торрента.

По возможности не удаляйте старые серии! чтобы релизёр мог сконцентрироваться на раздаче новых.
